NEWS FLASH!!!

Happy New Year from   Ms. Dee Dee's After School!    

SUMMER CAMP 2012: The Summer Camp sign up board is now available in Ms. Dee Dee's entry hall, and the names are already starting to add up!  You know how quickly the spots fill up, so please call or stop by to add your child's name to the list.  Don't forget, you can start making payments on the activity fee now.  Ms. Dee Dee will soon be getting down to some serious field trip planning and scheduling, and this summer promises to be another awesome one!!!

FUNDRAISING & SPONSORSHIP: Speaking of Summer Camp, we will continue our efforts into the New Year to raise money for an air-conditioned bus, so we can send the children on some awesome new trips.  So far we have worked with Napolitano's Italian Market to provide weekly family dinners, as well as hosted the Book Express, jewelry, and makeup companies to help us raise some money.  In the New Year we are going to be looking for sponsorship from local businesses to help us raise the necessary funds.  Parents if you own or work for a business that can help us raise the needed funds, please let us now, and also help get the word out!!!

2011 TAX STATEMENTS: Tax statements are available on request in the office.  They can also be faxed or e-mailed to you- just let us know how you would like to receive them.

LITTLE SCHOLARS TUTORING:  We hope to have tutoring available after the 1st of the year on Wednesdays with a board certified teacher.  For more information, please visit our Tutoring page.

Ms. Dee Dee's GLOW-IN-THE-DARK FUNDRAISING BRACELETS are here!  The price of each bracelet is $5, and all of the proceeds from the sale of the bracelets will go towards the purchase of an air-conditioned bus for Summer Camp.  To support our fundraising, we're having a contest: a family can take home a bag (or more!) of 20 bracelets to sell. Whichever family sells the most bracelets will receive $50 off one week's tuition during the month of February!!  The after school class that sells the most will get a pizza party! For more information, please contact us. Contest runs Feb 1st through the 29th.  So, please buy one, or sell a bag full, and support a good cause!  (Click on the image below to enlarge it).

 

MORE MS. DEE DEE'S AFTER SCHOOL NEWS!!!

NEW ENROLLMENT SPECIAL CONTINUES: Enroll now and we will waive the after school registration fee, which is a $50 savings for the first (only) child and $30 savings for each additional child! 

HOLIDAY & ABSENCE WEEK REDUCED TUITION: Starting with Spring Break last year, Ms. Dee Dee's began offering a special holiday discount for our full time enrolled families!  If the child(ren) of a full time enrolled family do not attend during a holiday week (this applies to both winter and spring breaks), then the tuition will be discounted during that week by $20 per child in the family!  This is similar to the spot holding fee that we charge full time enrolled families when they take a vacation week during Summer Camp.  Ms. Dee Dee's is now also offering this discount during the regular school year if a full time enrolled child is out for an entire week!

*** Union County Public Schools Bank Days ***

Ms. Dee Dee's will be open from 11am to 6pm on all Bank Days, and will be picking the kids up from school at the earlier time.  Please make sure you send a lunch with your child.  There is an extra $5 dollar fee for full time after schoolers, and the drop in rate is $20.

*** Snow Days, Teacher Work Days, Holidays ***

Don't forget that Ms. Dee Dee's is open on ALL snow days, ALL teacher work days, and MOST school holidays.  On those days we are open from 7am to 6pm.  Don't forget to pack lunch for your child.  The extra fee per full time enrolled child is $10, and the fee per drop in child is $35.

Wow- Summer Camp 2011 was awesome, as usual!  It won't be long before Ms. Dee Dee starts planning all of the new and exciting activities for next summer- hopefully with the addition of an air-conditioned bus!  Be sure to visit our Summer Camp page to read up on the current rates and sibling discounts.

REFERRAL INCENTIVES FOR FULL TIME ENROLLED FAMILIES!!!

If you refer a family to After School who enrolls one or more children in our program, you will receive a one time discount of $40 off your tuition!

If you refer a family to Summer Camp who enrolls two children in our program OR you refer two families who each enroll one child in our program, then you will receive a one time, free vacation week for each child in your family!  That is a savings of $75 per child!
